Aesthetic Care with Natural Goals

Aesthetic medicine at Andelana MD is designed for patients who want to soften visible signs of aging, improve skin quality, restore selected facial volume, or maintain a refreshed appearance without an artificial or overtreated result. Treatment recommendations are individualized according to anatomy, skin condition, prior procedures, medications, health history, budget, downtime, and personal goals.

Before Any Aesthetic Procedure

A focused aesthetic assessment and medical safety review are required. The physician discusses realistic goals, product or procedure selection, expected downtime, common side effects, serious risks, alternatives, aftercare, and the possibility that staged treatment may produce a more natural result than trying to complete every correction at one visit.

Photography and Consent

Standardized clinical photographs and procedure-specific informed consent are completed before treatment. Photographs are used for treatment planning and the medical record. Separate written permission is required before any image is used for education, marketing, or publication.

What the Aesthetic Consultation Reviews

The consultation reviews the patient's priorities, facial movement and balance, skin quality, prior injections or procedures, medications and supplements, allergies, history of cold sores or abnormal scarring, active dental or skin concerns, pregnancy status when relevant, expected downtime, and the amount of change the patient considers natural.

Combination and Staged Treatment Planning

BOTOX Cosmetic, filler, microneedling with PRP, HydraFacial, chemical peels, and medical skincare address different concerns. They are not automatically performed together. A staged plan may be safer, may make healing easier to evaluate, and may produce a more balanced result than attempting several corrective procedures at one visit.

Aftercare and Follow-Up

Patients receive procedure-specific aftercare and instructions describing which symptoms are expected and which require prompt contact or emergency evaluation. Follow-up timing depends on the procedure. Additional treatment is recommended only after the initial result and healing response can be assessed.
